About Camellia Path

Camellia Path Consulting Pty Ltd — Perth clinic and practice management consultants established in 2016, serving allied health and medical practices across Western Australia.

Registered business

Camellia Path Consulting Pty Ltd is the official registered business name. We were established in 2016 in Perth to help clinic owners and practice managers run calmer, better-documented operations without adding unnecessary overhead.

How we started

Founder Margaret Chen spent twelve years as a practice manager in multi-room physiotherapy before consulting independently. The name references the camellia hedges along the path to her first employer’s clinic in Subiaco — a daily reminder that small, consistent upkeep keeps a practice presentable to patients and auditors alike.

What we do today

We observe how your clinic actually runs: phone triage, handovers, roster gaps, and the paperwork that backs billing. Recommendations are written for your team to implement, with cost estimates and clear owners — not slide decks that gather dust.

Working approach

We spend time on your floor before recommending changes. Interviews are confidential at the individual level; themes are shared with leadership only. We prefer measurable actions — shorter waits, fewer billing corrections, audit-ready folders — over vague “culture change” language.

Values

  • Plain language — reports your reception lead can read without a glossary
  • Respect for clinical time — observations scheduled to minimise disruption
  • Honest scope — we say when an issue needs legal, HR, or clinical governance expertise beyond our remit

Community

We sponsor the WA Practice Managers peer breakfast twice yearly and contribute field notes to local allied health networks. Profit from template packs sold to non-clients supports those sessions.
